英語で花見を 「Cherry-Blossom Viewing」と言います。友達を誘ってお花見をする、というのは「Cherry-blossom viewing party」と英語で表現します。

基本的にアメリカでは、屋外でお酒を飲むことは違法です。そのため、日本のように屋外での飲酒や花の鑑賞といった伝統はありませんから、海外の友達に「cherry-blossom viewing party」と言っても理解されないかもしれないので、日本のお花見は、桜を見ながら友達と一緒にご飯を食べたりお酒を飲んだりすることと説明するとgoodです。

“Cherry-Blossom Viewing” is the English way of saying 花見.  If you invite friends to do Hanami with you, you can say “Cherry-Blossom Viewing Party”.  In the US it is usually illegal to consume alcoholic beverages outside, so we do not have a widely practiced tradition of drinking outdoors and viewing flower blossoms.  Even if you tell an English speaking foreign friend “cherry-blossom viewing party”, they might not really understand what that means. You might have to explain to your foreign friends in English that at a cherry-blossom viewing party you will eat, drink alcohol, and chat while watching the cherry-blossoms.
